Not exactly, but when Dom was tattooing the ribbon right up in my arm pit, almost i was sweating my ass off and my eyes and nose were watering. Pain.
2. When did you get your first tattoo?
I was 19.
3. What was your first tattoo?
my straight edge lower backpiece.
4. Which tattoo is closest to your heart?
Literally - My x One x True x Love chest piece, but all my edge tattoos mean the most to me.
5. Do you have a matching tattoo with someone?
Nope, although Darkside got the same X’s in the same place as me a few years after I got mine..as well as countless others no doubt.
6. Do you have a tattoo that someone messed up on?
Sorta, wasnt really messed up, I got my wrists done at Hellfest in 04, the dude did some awesome work and I was watching him do this kid before me and it was lush, but doing the most simple of things didnt turn out quite right just the thickness of the lines didn’t match all the way round, so I had them touched up when I came back to the UK.
7. Do you have anyone’s name tattooed on you?
8. What was the most painful tattoo you received?
The ribbon going into my armpit was evil, the top inside of my arm in general as she razzed it something proper and its all squidgy and soft there :(
9. How many tattoos do you have?
24 tattoos or 20 if you count the 3 x’s on the last three fingers of each hand as 1 per hand.
10. Do you plan on being heavily or moderately tattooed?
it will be heavily.
11. Do you have a tattoo that you constantly have to explain?
Edge Tattoos, chest piece and over all every tattoo as they dont understand why I would cover myself as I am “such a pretty girl, why would you do that to yourself?”
12. Have you ever gotten an infection from a tattoo?
13. What is the longest session you’ve ever sat straight?
14. What is the biggest tattoo that you have and how long did it take?
Lower back is probably the biggest it took like 4/5 hours I think? so long ago I dont remember.
15. Did you tell your parents?
Yes my mum knows, she cried over my first one, and is upset every time I get more, but its my body and its my problem if I ended up hating them, which I wont.
16. Do you regret having gotten any of your tattoos?
No, I chose them all and thought about them before I got them done, I didn’t just walk into a shop chose something of the wall and get someone with no talent to do them. Educated Decisions.
17. Would you consider ever getting any of your tattoos removed?
18. What are you going to get for your next tattoo?
Lower arm, didn’t have time to get it when I got my knees done a few weeks back, took up all the time I booked :( I will try and get it in October.
19. Do you think members of the opposite sex with a lot of tattoo are hot?
Tattoos can improve the way certain people look in the sense that they are good tattoos and nicely done them in themselves can be attractive and can make you look at the person differently, and sometimes a average looking boy/girl can become more interesting, but what tattoos can do is make an attractive person look awful if they are covered in sweet tribal and badly done tattoos. I find bad/ugly tattoos a turn off, one ex was covered in awful tattoos on his arms, I liked probably about 3 tattoos out of a lot of coverage, I tried to ignore it, but it was hard.
20. Are you unfortunate to have an arm band tatoo?
Yeah I have a nice ode to pammy barbed wire tattoo. not.
21. How many people have tattooed you?
Matt Difa, Dom Holmes, Allison Manners, Lee Hadfield, Bradley Tompkins, Joe (no idea of his surname @ hellfest) and The dude who I have forgotten his name but was Geordie and worked at Tusk alongside Matt.
and so far I have set up my landline to be sorted they come to install on the 16th and rather than it being 127.99, it was 29.99! DEALS! I like the fact I saved near on £100! Now to sort out everything else!
i sign for the flat and its alll mine! whey! Tomorrow I will have to get on to sorting out Gas, Electric, Water and council tax and get on ordering a Fridge Freezer and Washing Machine….long! Thats like £350 gone already and they are just no frills do the job for now things…eurgh…money pit! :( but once all the stuff is in I don’t need to worry about getting anything next time I move. As much as i love being by myself, its not cool to have to pay for it all! argh! :(
Well the only reason I stopped drinking was because I spent too much money on it and a massive hangover. So not wasting money and no hangovers are a benefit I guess.
Obviously the fact that I'm always aware of what I'm doing and lukily I comfortable being in social situations or whatever without having to drink.
But I guess none of those are really benefits, but that's just me.
What are yours? x
You can just stop drinking, or moderate, you dont need to call yourself straight edge to do that, tee total or just no ta, I dont drink can suffice?
The benefits for me are a clean mind and a body that is not flooded with poisons that degrade and destroy my body. That I don’t contribute towards the alcohol/tobacco industry which destroys many people daily and don’t fund crime that affects people and communities on a local, national and international level. I think my choices how ever minimal they may seem, reach beyond me in some cases. I like the fact I dont buy into these socially excepted rituals, the binge drinking living for the weekend behaviour is something I see as an Ill in society. Moderation is the key word for many, but they dont understand this and its all excess.
There are loads more benefits but I would be writing essays over it. x
I have to be more savvy with my money this coming year! It wont be so bad every 3 months when I get bonus, I will be a little bit more flush, but I have to not waste money any more or I will be constantly broke!
Tattoos and treats will have to wait now! Savings and paying money off everywhere will be first! I will just have to amuse myself in other ways! or sleep a lot! haha.
