April 2010
but I am sick of being invited to support groups for a young man that has been sentenced for Graffiti.
Its a sad that he was given a long sentence, which seems at odds with what ‘proper’ or ‘hardened’ criminals get but we all know that if we do something ILLEGAL that means there will be a punishment if we get caught or found out. So if we continue with what we are doing and then get caught, knowing that we could get in trouble, surely that is on our own head? It is known that the government doesn’t take a good stance on graffiti and to curb the rise of it, we are given spaces to LEGALLY do it. I do not have a problem with Graffiti or people that do it, its up to them, but on their own head be it. Just like every illegal activity people chose to do. I dont agree with 18 months for painting, but if everyone was just told they were naughty, had their paints taken away and at worst given an £80 fine, it would not deter anyone, which they are wanting to do. The laws are there for a reason, how ever flawed or stupid they seem sometimes, thats the way it is and for activities such as that, no one is going to change it.
Woo. A bolt felt out of my clutch, which they fitted only dec! idiots, that coulda been so dangerous! I could of picked it up tonight but apparently my tyres were only barely road legal at the front, so they are gonna order some tyres of me tonight and I will have my car back tomo! YAY! Means I can get to practice all this week! Plus I can go swimming as well! woo!
I have to swap today for my day off, So I shall be working Tomorrow-Next thursday without a break. I am going to be DEAD. :(
I need my car fixed asap as I am relying on a kind lady to pick me up and drop me off on her way through. It also means I will miss Wednesday, Friday and Sundays Practice if its not sorted out by tomorrow. ARRGGHH! Being without a car is soul destroying, because public transport here is timetabled so shit you cant get anywhere at all :(
